Located in Oslo, capital of Norway, Vigeland Park, also known as the Sculpture Park is the most famous in Norway and is visited by around one million people throughout the year.

The park was created by Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland in the first half of the twentieth century and an important sector of it is dedicated to the exhibition of their works. This artist fashioned each of his sculptures in clay and plaster, and later hired craftsmen to build the final pieces of granite, bronze and cast iron. The park has an area of 32 hectares and its space is divided into five different sectors.

The first is the entry gate made ??of cast iron and carved by the same Vigeland. This gate opens road to the bridge, the second sector, which looks decorated with bronze sculptures. These sculptures, is that called “The Angry Child, ” which became the symbol of Oslo and went on to star in many of the tourist postcards. The bridge placed in the fountain, an imposing granite column surrounded by bronze reliefs, and beyond the source, we find the Monolith, the largest center of attention around the park. This is a sculpture of a single block of granite from 17 meters, 121 displaying naked human figures intertwined and represent different stages of human life. The Wheel of Life, the tour culminates with four adults and three children figures linked together.
The entrance to this tourist attraction is free and is one of the rides a must for anyone visiting Oslo and enjoyment of cultural tourism.
