South of the Medina of Marrakech, and just on the northern edge of the fortress of the Kasba, you find the Bay Palace, a building which is a true work of art of Moroccan architecture.

Built at the end of the 19th century, the Palace of the Bay of Marrakech, extends in a single plant with a labyrinth of rooms and courtyards (has more than 150 rooms, although we will visit only a part…), where you can discover beautiful architectural places.

5 Tombs Saadies

And already within the precincts of the Kasba, on the back of the mosque, you should not miss the Saadíes tombs. It’s a mausoleum of the dynasty Saadi, built between the 16th and 17TH centuries, and that was hidden for a long time until it was rediscovered in 1904.

There are several mausoleums in a small garden and walled enclosure, but will it be worthwhile queue to see the impressive Hall of twelve columns, the corner most beautiful aquitectónicamente of the Saadies tombs, and possibly all Marrakech.
