Luther House is located in the town of Wittenberg, Germany, in a former Augustinian monastery where Luther lived first as a monk and later as owner with his own family. It is a unique site within Protestant Christianity, one of the most important.
The Wittenberg monastery was dissolved by the Reformation and then some became a student residence and other rooms were given to Luther and his family. Here Luther lived great moments of his life, for example all related to his conversion from Catholicism to a preacher of the break and also the fact that his wedding procession came out of this place toward the church.
The truth is that the building is very well preserved and now works here is an interesting museum dedicated to the great reformer and reform itself. Is your room, lounge with wood ceiling and tile Renaissance and the small reading room where Luther taught hundreds of students simultaneously.
