Amsterdam, we know, is the cradle of diversity, almost made a museum city. But while going to Amsterdam is by definition going to a museum, we suggest a visit to the museums of the capital of the Netherlands, trying to get his story and see this diversity documented and clearly demarcated.
Find the Museumplein in Amsterdam, a trinomial with the most important museums of the city, among which the Rijksmuseum, icon of the city and one of the most important art museums worldwide. In it we find an exquisite collection of art Dutchman (especially its Golden Age), and very important works of Renaissance art world in a building that is a postcard of itself.
The Van Gogh Museum, where I happened to be, pick up the wonderful work of Impressionist painter, and inevitably ends up falling in love with the visitor. The third museum that makes the Museumplein is the Stedelijk, the city’s main museum dedicated to modern art.
The tour continues through the Temple of Venus, another inescapable visit the capital of the Netherlands, where we found the most exquisite collection of erotic art, both movable and painting. Everything relating to sex we find here in the museum world’s largest erotic which is open every day.
Finally, to complete the visit are the Museum of the Pianola, which has one of the most important collections of pianos around the world and musical equipment. We also have over 14,000 recordings of Debussy, Gershwin and many more. Please note, open only on Sundays.
